ABOUT THE OHA
The Obesity Health Alliance is a coalition of nearly 60 organisations working together to reduce obesity by influencing Government policy.
The goal of the Obesity Health Alliance is to prevent obesity-related ill-health by supporting evidence based population level policies to help address the wider environmental factors that lead to excess bodyweight.
We do this by:
- Sharing insight and expertise among members
- Developing and advocating evidence-informed policy recommendations
- Influencing decision makers and the media
The OHA is independent and funded by its members. The OHA does not have a view on individual weight, specific weight management programs or medical treatments and cannot give medical advice.
