These figures show that we all are still eating far more sugar than is good for us. We know eating too much sugar can lead to weight gain and obesity. We need to create an environment that makes it easier to make healthier choices — particularly for our children. That is why we strongly support the soft drinks industry levy and are calling on the Government to protect our children from junk food marketing on TV and online.
